I sadly only have one dog now, her name is Odetta, she's a white shephard probably mixed with a little husky, or wolf, I'll never know (got her at the pound 7 years ago) she's extremely vocal, I never have to wonder what she wants.

Dulcie Mae was just struck by a car that didn't stop, and was killed on January 8 2000, it absolutely broke my heart, I had her for 7 years as well. but I do believe I'll see her again.

(updated, Bekka has two other dogs now, one named Mark and the other named Lilah and a cat named Simon)

What is the tattoo on your right wrist?

My tattoo, is two birds one pink, the other blue facing each other, with a heart shaped music note in between them, there's also a purple one on the under side. I drew it and the guys at Sunset Tattoo did a great job tattooing on me (or at least I think so) it represents the place where love (the heart), peace (the doves) and music (music note) all meet.

What is your all time favorite song? Album? Band?

Fave song has gotta be a tune my dad has on one of his records (can't remember, maybe to "To Bonnie from Delaney " or "Motel Shot") its called COUNTRY LIFE and it says -

"Down near the end of the road you can see where I live. With my wife and three lovely daughters (doodeedoo) we had a bad year, our cotton just died, and last night I know I heard my Bonnie cry… Today a man came he said everything will be all right, we drove all the next day, and late in the hours of night, We came to a city and after a while we had everything they say to be in style. ...I wanna go back to the country, all I ever want to be is happy, I wanna go back to the country, with Michele, Rebekka, Suzanne, my Bonnie and me "

I guess that explains it, all three questions, can't help it, just love em to pieces long live Delaney and Bonnie music!!!!!!!

What is your favorite song to do live?

Imagine ~

We've done that song all over the world, but there was this one time in Berlin, East Germany, when we did Imagine and a tiny lil German girl about 4 years old snuck past the armed guards somehow and walked by herself up this steep grassy knoll that was our stage, and opened up her arms to me. I finished the song in tears, and will never forget the power of music, since that day. She put her head on my shoulder and squeezed me for the rest of the entire song.

Do you keep in touch with Billy Thorpe? Are you interested in doing anything rock/bluesy like that again?

Billy Thorpe is a lifelong friend as is his family; he and Lynn (his beautiful wife) had me over to their home in Sydney, Australia, when I was last there, with Billy Joel they were also my guests at the show, we had a ball. I don't speak to them nearly as much as I'd like to simply because of our schedules, but would never close the door to working with him on any project of any soulful genre.

What are your future plans musically? Strictly solo stuff or any possibility of starting a new Band or something?

About my future plans, all I can say at the moment is that I'm in pre production (finally) and super excited about the solo project that I'm now working on.

Any touring?

Touring, to me is inevitable, not to mention what I do best!

The best thing about touring? The worst thing about touring?

Best thing about touring ... I guess just being able to play for all new people all the time and checkin' out what the music does to them, that and just never sittin' around long enough to get bored

Worst thing is definitely losing touch with friends and family, sleeping in your own bed at night is highly underrated as well

Your stranded on an island and you can only have 3 things with you, what would they be?

3 things I'd have to have on a desert island .......hmmmm......I guess a radio, my dog, and a huge box of chocolates ...
